The word "Thando" comes from the Xhosa word for "Love", that’s the goals we thrive to achieve. To help as many people cultivate a love of writing and literature.

We know that not everyone will become or want to become a published writer; but through our workshops you can fall in love with writing whether you are a novelist, poet, song writer or script writer.

We create a platform for you to learn more, from participating in interviews to getting to know industry professionals and introducing you to guest facilitators.
